"Petra"
Petra was bred by Barbara Timm of Woods Runner in Davidson, MI. I always say that she was an impulse buy that came out to be incredibly rewarding. I loved Petra's mother and the litter's pedigree is packed full of amazing dogs.

Petra's finished with her third major at the first dog show in 2020 after the COVID lockdowns in Canfield, OH. I then took her to the 2020 American Whippet Club Midwest Specialty where she won a ribbon everyday as a special, including an Award of Merit under breeder judge Kathy Davenport (Kamada). I decided to special her after that.

Petra won the 2022 Greater Chicago Whippet Specialty under breeder judge Tom Kirstein. Other special wins include Award of Merit at the 2022 American Whippet Club Midwest Specialty and best of breed at one of the supported entries there. She has won a National Owner Handler Series Best in Show, multiple reserve best in shows, and multiple group placements as well as wins.

Black whippets are not a common in the specials ring, but I believe we have to show them more to get more recognition. She has been a blast to show, and I love oh so much.

At the 2024 National she won best in altered under breeder judge Ryan Ziehart, and place 4th in a large brood bitch class under breeder judge Tom Kirstein.
Petra is retired from the show due to her spay after having puppies. She enjoys ruling the house.

"Cosmo"

Cosmo is form the litter we whelped and raised for Sue Thrasher of Dream Maker Manchester Terriers and Phil Gray of Owlwatch Great Danes and Whippets. Sue said it was a favor, we called it opportunity. Cosmo's mother was a littermate to a bitch we lost in our 2017 housefire.

James picked Cosmo from the litter and will be the dog that HE finishes by himself. They are having a blast learning the world of dog shows together. Cosmo is an intense drivey dog that loves to try all the things. He loves lure coursing and any other CAT events. He has tried dock diving, and James has been working with him in agility. He is such a neat little dog.

Gallus is our pick male from our Oakley x Petra litter (the Skyrim litter). We loved him ever since he was born, being a little clone of his mother. He is a serious little dude in the show ring, but don't let that fool you, he is ALL about his toys.

We were incredibly honored at the 2024 Whippet National where he was first place in Breeder's Sweeps under Breeder Judge Kevin Carlson. Second place in his Futurity class under Breeder Judge Susie Hughes. He was also second place in a huge bred-by exhibitor class and was pulled in consideration for reserve winners dog, under Breeder Judge Debbie Davenport.

He is pointed in lure coursing, and has tried out obedience, scent work, and agility classes. Cannot wait to see what direction this guy takes us!

"Aela"
It is Aela's world, and we are all living in it. She is our female pick from Oakley x Petra litter (the Skyrim Litter). She was exactly what we were going for in temperament with the cross of her mom and dad, a confident little show dog with the brain to do more!

Aela has to do things perfectly, or else she quits on us. It took her a year to get a hang of lure coursing because whenever she would mess up, she would stop in the middle of the field and say "Can I get a do over?" After a year of building confidence, she QC'd and then got 4th in a large open class at her first real trial! She is a fine wine type of whippet, she is getting better and better as she ages.
